HarperOne—an imprint of HarperCollins dedicated to books that inspire change and shape cultural dialogue—was where I honed my editorial skills. In my roles as Editorial Assistant and then Assistant Editor, I liaised with marketing, publicity and design teams to ensure project timelines were met, drafted book jacket copy, edited manuscripts, ensured author payments, contracts, and production deadlines remained on task, and more.
